Wasnt there another pilot that got credit for an American "Kill"
in the pacific,  somebody posted about a P-61 on a night mission shooting down a B-29?

HAHAHA

They gave him the DFC for shooting down a C47 loaded with nurses.

Guess they gave him the award because in the long run he saved thier lives since they were landing at a Japanese base by mistake.
