Ask ==AC== on AGW, my old CO from Warbirds, for a post pic of his set-up, he's recreated a F6F cockpit, fully enclosed.

Would that be auger? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) I took a flight in his setup at con98. OH MAN talk about barfomatic (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) that was the only time at the whole con that was was close to blowing chunks. It was cool though (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

SOB now the plushiness of THAT chair is clearly overmodelled (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
-
SOB has a barfridge right nest to the chair also.......I believe he uses a twist stick so the rudder pedals are not necessary.

You dunna know fun till you fly with a CH Yoke (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
I switch periodically between the CH FSY and my older CH Combat stick...the yoke leaves you fatigued after a good dog fight (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Only problem is dead-bands have to be set really high because it never returns to an exact center point, so precision movments are difficult. Very good for Buffs and (historically I guess) the P-38.
