He was deep in Bishop territory, too. A Knight B-17 at 25k! I landed my La7 after finding him and grabbed a 262. I climbed toward him as one of my countrymen attacked only to see him fall in flames. :(
Determined, I continued to grab staying within icon range of the enemy buff. By the time we were co-alt we were at 35k, and deep in Knight territory. I extended out 10k on his 12oc and reversed for a text book attack. He had dropped some alt, but upon seeing me coming, bailed.
Where's my kill? :( :D

Tough cookie you don't get a kill.

I did the same thing yesterday Voss, 262, extended 12 oclock, 500mph, down and under attack. 1.2k out, plink, my wing disappeared
I think your lucky he bailed m8 :D

Lucky or not, that was bad form to bail like that. Some chutes beg to be shot. :D

I know. Strangly, they tend to be the ones I leave floating at 25K.
On the other hand, anything under 5K's a challenge!

Hey that happend to me 3 times last night with the same guy. Although he was in a 190 but came to our base 3 time and as soon as me and my squadie got on his six he ALT F4'd. Now not quite the same but just as much of a bummer :D

The last HI alt long range bomber sortie i had i bagged a 262 before he could get a shot off
That 262 pilot had to be angry, even after watching the film i thought if i was in his shoes i would have been irrate because i got him with 2 decent pings as he came under neath me for a belly attack.
didnt look to do much damage (structual) on either of them but he bellowed black smoke and fell to the earth.
Ended up getting a 190 and a p51 right after.
Who ever that was in the 262 if it makes ya feal better i didnt make it home from your HQ, blame it on my wingman who insisted that we only need 50% fuel for the 300+ mile round trip.
Only ended up with 5 perkies
