I've been flying the A20 a bit and use it to hit GVs at a base. My stats show about 17 kills for the A20. A few may be proximity kills but most are legitimate air-to-ground kills.
When I check my score, it shows I only have 4 kills in a bomber. I'm guessing those are for air-to-air kills only. I quess my question is "how are legit air-to-ground kills reflected?".

As far as I know, all ground kills should show up as bomber kills on one condition. You have to destroy them with ordnance. Kills in a bomber using guns, be they forward firing or turrets, do not count. Also, A20 can be scored as attack or bomber, did you have it on Bomber for all those kills?

Actually, when I fly the A-20, you can choose either to be scored as a fighter or Attack.
I don't think you get a bomber score for A-20 attacks.

I'm at work I can't tell, but I'm 99% sure A20 is Bomber/Attack. I know Mossie and 110 are Fighter/Attack...

Thanks guys I will check. I guess since the A20 falls under the "bomber" selection category, then I assumed that it would be scored as such. I thought I checked for the option on how to score it but maybe I overlooked it :(

First if killing gvs u want a attack mode plane. As no points in bomber mode killing gv's. same for fighter 's if infighter mode and you shoot gv's you HIT % goes way down. and you get no credit under fighter score for killing a gv.
2nd I fly a20 probally more than most if not the most. I always pick attack mode for a20. last tod 289 kills with a20 including a couple of 262's. in attack if u hit city points go to attack score and killing gvs does same.
A20 Either flys as attack or bomber, I recommend using it only as attack. landed 10 kill sorties in the a20 she can kill with ease with little practice..................... ............................. .

Tks Rod. I went back and checked and I have been flying it in the Bomber mode vice the attack. Seems kinda bogus that you cant get kills in the bomber mode on GV's since it is a dive bomber. But since that is the case, I will change it over it the attack mode.
You right about it being a killer. Flew it 2 or 3 days against GVs and got 17 kills. Very cool.

Its not a dive bomber as far as I know.
Its mostly a skip bomber, which is not possible here in AH.
So we use it as a dive bomber.
At least some do, I cant seem to make it work much, compression is rough with this plane :(

Imp, think shallow dive angles, cut throttle well back. I seldom take it higher than 8k.
She dive bombs sweetly but you do have to watch the speed.
One of the things I love about it is that you can haul it around & go right back in on target like a fighter.

only time i get her to 8k or above is go to cap base. attack gvs 1 stay 3 to 4 k max. killing flaks is tougher but if u start 3k dive 45% and drop 1,3 from gv bomb kills them 75% time./and usally she breaks wings before compresses..........
ps. 222kills as of 15th going for 400 this tod in her. Nothing deacks a small field as well as a20. 2 passes then dropp 2 bombs vh 6 bombs city. then vulch right sporqi :)
