At this point in time, I don't see anyone being able to beat that goalie of yours. Giguere is an absolute brick wall against the puck. Haven't seen a guy that comfortable in the net since Patrick Roy when he was younger.
I'm just wondering when they're going to stop calling Anaheim the "underdogs". At this point, I'd say they're favored to win the Cup.

All of the "Under-dog " teams of the past have ridden the Goalie wave.
Untill they win they will be have the title. Giguere can go from Hero to Zero just that fast , probably would have been better for the team to have won the series with games more like the last one.

Well sax,
When I saw the series against Detroit, I thought it was a fluke. When they beat Dallas, still maybe a fluke I thought. I wasn't overly impressed with the team, except for the goaltender.
But now, they seem to have a real solid defense going, and some really good play in the neutral zone getting quite a few odd man rushes going on turnovers. All this, combined with a great goalie to back up their defense.
I no longer think they're a fluke riding the merits of their goalie. He's just the icing on the cake... Unbelievable...
