Title: La5 film

Comments: deacked field during first la5 sortie, but died in a process. Headed back in la5. It was flak at the field, so were more b&z than classic runway vulch. Was Extreme around most of the time, got good help from him. When it was darker missed several times, but still got quite good gunning accuracy. When out of ammo found that fuel is very short also. Had some engine management to make it home, but anyway landed at the last bits of e. Quite fun run, hope will be interesting to watch.

It's a "I just flew a loooong sector and this is all that's left" sort of thing..

If it's all that's left, I'll do my best. Looks good when you land them..

Still doesn't make it "fun"

It's a let down when that's all that there is..

Post by: Yorba on May 21, 2003, 12:21:48 AM: In Fariz's defense (and if anyone thinks i am a Fariz fanboy, just check out the guadalcanal threads lol), it wasn't a vulch fest, it was base supression in an attempt to capture it. Unfortunately, the knit defense was relentless and after an hour or two we didn't have it and moved on. You'll see Me in prominence in the clip trying to dive bomb a flak in a 38 (note: 38's are large targets...)

I switched to spit V and make some turning fights, have film with 9 kills, HO, tcp, warps, and other pleasant thing :)

You can start fariz-no-fan club then, I think you will find some members ;)

I do not see much differense in just-vulch, or vulch-for-some-high-idials. Vulch is vulch, it can be borring, it can be fun, it can be frustrating. I normally never fly to field just for vulch, I fly to it and if not intercepted otw I get acks and start vulch. I always let my county knows about field startus, so people can join me. Sometime I ask for support. Sometimes I get enough of support to get field.

I do it often some tours. Last tours may be half my fighter death were while taking up at vulched field, and 90% of bombers death came the same way.
