Folks,
I just joined AH. I flew online a few times and have some questions.
- When you see the main map there are green and red rectangles of various sizes on it. What do they mean?
- I've taken off from fields and flown around without seeing anyone. How can you tell "where the action is"?
- Some bases flash on the map. Does that mean they are under attack?
- There are also arrows on the map. What are they for?
thanks

They are 'Dar Bars', indicators of relative friendly and enemy strength in the sector

By using the map in conjunction with the Dar Bars, they'll tell you where the fight is

Yes, flashing base icons mean that that base is under attack
- There are also arrows on the map. What are they for?
The yellow arrows indicate vehicle spawn points, the purple ones indicate PT boat and LVT spawn points. A red arrow near edge of map means an enemy is flying off the map,
thanks

Green Rectangles mean how many good guys are in that one sector ( that little square on the map)..And the Red Rectangle is how many enemy there are...The bigger the bar the more enemy are in the sector..

You can tell where the action is by the same bars, or you may see little green and red dots around some bases, indicating cons and friendlies.

Exactly.

Arrows may be the Carrier groups you see..But im not sure.

63tb,
I think most of your questions will be answered by reading my write-up on the radar map (http://www.netaces.org/ahradar/radarmap.html#title).
Good Luck!
