Please post your side choice here.

==============================================

Operation Husky

July 1943. The invasion of Sicily code named Operation Husky is ready to swing into action. The allies have two carrier fleets and the British bases at Malta to use as a launching pad to fire the opening salvos of a European invasion.

Standing against them is the might of the German armies battle hardened forces with Italian and German air power. Often regarded as a forgotten front some of the hardest fought battles of the Second world war are about to take place.

Once the operation begins 12 divisions (160,000 men and 600 tanks) of the British Eighth and U.S. Seventh Armies being brought ashore by 3,000 landing craft (200 sunk by rough seas) on the south-east coast of Sicily. The British approaching Syracuse meet with little German resistance, the U.S. forces are held back by strong counter-attacks of the Hermann Goring and the Italian Livorno Divisions.

Cooley,

Go to events.simladder.com and select Sunday TOD, on the left hand side near the bottom is a link for the CO of each squad.

Email any squad you fancy asking if they have a spare guest slot, once you have agreed a guest slot then turn up and fly.

We do not allow walk ons, you have to get a guest slot.
