Nothing to do with AH!

Another board on which I am active also uses vbulletin v 2.2.8. I suggested that they enable the dot which shows to which threads you have posted and it killed the board - performance was terrible. Any idea why?

how many members are you talking about,,would also recommend doing the upgrade TO 2.3.0 :),reindexing your database may help too :)

Thanks but the solution was that the BBS was running at capacity and this function added a considerable load. Too much, so down it went.
