Title: sound card unistall issues

Ok so i cant unistall/repair/or modify my sound blaster live 5.1 gamer in Win XP

Under the add/remove programs  i click uninstall but it pops back and its still in the list then it promts  me to reboot.

After the reboot it doesnt do the "newhardware found search" so it seem to me its not uninstalling it at all.

Is there a way to manually remove the installed driver pack that is listed in the "add/remove programs"?

Dude if you are having all these problems I would suggest you back up all your important files etc and reformat that computer and do a fresh install of XP.  If you need help doing so let me know it is VERY simple with XP.
