Who ya rootin fer?
Who do ya think will win?

I'm pulling for Hondas in general and Andretti and Gordon in particular.  I think one of those damned Marlboro cars will probably win though.

My heart tells me "who cares?" and my head also tells me "who cares?"

Indy has been ruined for 5 years now.

Is Tony Stewart pulling double duty again?  I haven't been following the time trials.

For Indy I havent been keeping up with the races but I'll vote for any team that has a flashy paint job and a driver thats willing to climb a fence to throw stuff back at the crowd. Also I want to see an American V8 win. Jeff Gordon was my pic for future Indy star but then he went to Nascar.

For Formula1 I want Micheal Schumacher to win just for the hell of it or Team Minardi to win the championship because they have no chance in the world. GO TEAM MINARDI!!!

For SuperBike I wont Arron Yates to win.

For MotoGP I want Norick ABE (good but sometimes screws up), Noriyuki HAGA (either slooow or FAAAST), Valentino ROSSI (hail the new king).

For Nascar I'll pick the Jeff Gordon, or the Army car. I dont really watch Nascar though.

Jeff Gordon doesn't race at Indy and the American engine is not competitive.  And Schumacher sucks.  You're **** out of luck Senna.  :)

How's that?  Almost all the good drivers and teams and engine manufacturers run IRL now.  CART is a bunch of scrubs these days.

I'm not sure how the scheduling will work out but I will almost certainly go to the Laguna Seca Historics.

Well its not for a while so maybe we can arrange to meet inside. I usually go with an old friend of mine who has devised a way to now sneak into Laguna Seca since he lives nearby the track and spends alot of time there. We/he has a secrete route into the track :D so I'll have to meet you there. Be cool to meet you then.

Historics? Was thinking more of the CART race in the fall.

Hey don't knock the Historics.  Lots of incredible cars, some close racing, small crowds, and you get a chance to meet some of the all time greats.  Stirling Moss, Jack Brabham, Phil Hill, Jim Hall, Dan Gurney, Hans Stuck, Brian Redman, Chris Amon, Bobby Rahal, George Follmer, Carrol Shelby, etc.  Usually lots of famous people from the auto industry, entertainment, and car magazines too.

Hey I'm just telling the truth.  Toyota and Honda have dominated pretty much every lap of the IRL this year and the fastest Chevy qualifier for the 500 is 18th.  If Hornish can't even get a sniff of the top 10 then you know something is up with the motor.

Indy is a footnote now - why does anybody even care? I'd rather watch the Carolina 600 (insert sponsor name here)

Historics?  As in the road racing historics?  I've seen some of those races at Sebring and they're a blast.  Its great watching the old classics taking the turns at speed.  Its like a trip through time.

I'll be pulling for Sarah Fisher and Jimmy Vassar.

Indy is just not the same since the split. 1996 was the last decent Indy. What a shame.

Pulling for Michael Andretti this race, this is his last season and he has never won the 500.

Also an Al Unser Jr. fan so I will pull for him to have second.
