Man, this guy is funny. I only get to listen when Im out of Phoenix( don't know if he's on there) and he cracks me up everytime I listen.
Those people that believe his "guests" are great. He has a clever sense of humor for sure.

Comedy gold!
Wasn't he a big star in Florida before moving out west and syndicating?
Loved the one where he was "interviewing" a "Spanish guy" who wanted to help men meet women. The "Spanish guy" was telling Phil that the sexiest words a woman can hear are .. "lava mi ropas"...
(This means "wash my clothes")

Yep, he was very big in Florida. First time I heard him was about 8 years ago during a time when Cubans were rafting over in droves, and it was a bit of an issue for Floridians. I was in the Keys listening to the radio and I heard a broadcast interview of a coast guard captain that was supposedly live from the deck of a cutter - you could hear the wind and the choppers and everything - and the Captain was describing how each cuban was pulled from the water and immediately taken to the "lido deck" where he/she was given a complimentary cocktail, a supper menu, and given assistance in signing up for welfare. I thought wtf? Up until that point, I was taken in hook, line and sinker. :D I've been following him ever since.
Oh and he picked on the Cubans big time down here - mainly because the expatriots are so rabid and easily riled. He once had a "diplomat" sent over by Castro on his show. He brought a message for the Miami Cubans from Castro that he related to the audience in Spanish. It was supposed to mean "I send my warmest wishes to all the Cubans in Miami and my prayers for your good health."
What he actually said in Spanish was "You are a stain on the bathroom floor."
The Cubans in Miami went nuts calling in to the show complaining in outrage :D

Phil Hendrie is a genius.
If you become a paying member at his website, you can listen to entire shows in Windows Media or RealPlayer without commercials. Good listening while flying.
