The song they wrote for him is terrible.  He has a great voice, but that song is horrible.  In fact, I thought last night's show was probably the least entertaining of them all.  Its as if all of the songs were the same love ballad style.

And did it seem that, when all of the other American Idol contestants came back out for their big musical number, that they were lip-synching in the chorus parts?  Its as if the church choir in the aisles carried the chorus while the individual solo-ists parts were the only times the mic's were hot.

And seeing them all again reminded me of something:  who was hotter, Julia De Mato or Kimberly Caldwell?

They are now talking about a recount because of Florida.

First the diference was 13,000 then just before calling it seacrest said 1,300 then after the show the producers said 130,000.

We shall see but the big guy deserved it IMO.

Yeah, I thought the whole "Clay won xxx state" was a bit hokey.  The first time they did that, my wife turned to me and jokingly said "I wonder how many electoral votes he gets."

I thought the De Mato chick was the hottest.  ;)  Then again, the only parts of American Idol I ever watched were the last little bit as that's when I switched over from ABC to watch 24 on FOX.  :p  I just never watched it on Mon's or Wed's.

No way!  Sure da Mato had high cheekbones, white teeth, big "talents" and big hips, but Kimberly had the trim, athletic look going for her.  And she could actually carry a tune!
