Last night it was announced that Tampa International Airport was going to lay-off 175 baggage security screeners due to government budget cuts.

Meanwhile, the terrorist threat level was raised to "Orange"...

a 2+ trillon dollar budget, and they can't find ANYTHING else to cut. please.

After years of overspending and other issues, our state is finally making the hard call of cutting back...you know...call this kooky...but balance the budget.  

Naturally this service minded-free handout mentality state is all wound up.  The same TV News programs that hounded them about budget shortfalls and spending is now playing up the boo-hoo, this department has to cut back 2 people and good grief that's going to make this tough around here.

So, what do they want...balance the budget, or nitpick where its cut constantly?  I guess its like chosing where to dump nuclear waste...yes dump it, but not here please.  Or in this case, yes, cut that program, but not the freebie ones I'm mooching from.
