Since Annika is on the PGA Tour this week her name is all over the world. She is going to be getting all kinds of offered. She has already done commercials for Callaway, Gatorade, and Tampax today. Who knows what she is going to do tommorow? That is why she should get breast implants. If she improved her image she would attract more fans.

It would be nutz if she got into the porn industry. Could you imagine what the LPGA Tour would be like if she did that? It would be a circus. Youd have thousands upon thousands of people showing up to watch them play golf. It would get her lots of offers and she could be on the Howard Stern show. It would be nice. It would be a great business decision for her.

The LPGA rules allow only women to play their tournaments. The PGA rules say nothing about the sex of the players.

What would be the point? She could enter 50 PGA events and not make the cut. The Colonial was a taylor made course for her, she praticed there for two weeks, she played better golf than the nine zillion of us hackers, 5 handicappers, highly ranked amatuers and club pros and she STILL didn't make the cut against the very best golfers in the world. Why is anyone surprised? Christy Martin is a great female boxer and she could knock the crap out of any of us here, but against Oscar De La Hoya she'd get KO'd. Post by: Creamo on May 24, 2003, 02:53:49 PM: Agreed, how pointless. Women get slaughtered by men in sports, even one as limiting as golf. I'd like to see a girl be a safety in the NFL for 1 set of downs as much as I would watching one play golf again out of her league.

Still, that girl was very interesting to watch, handled the pressure amazing (well other than being the supposed best LPGA golfer in the world and not even breaking under par at a taylor made, windless golf course) and impressed me. Not by placing 96th or whatever, but the way she carried herself, and told reporters she was never going to play in a PGA event again. Pretty classy.
