GENEVA (Reuters) - More than 190 countries on Wednesday approved the first international treaty against smoking, including an advertising ban, aimed at kicking a habit that kills nearly 5 million people a year

I am not a smoker and think it is a vile habit. When my old man died I Had to clean his house so it could be sold, and it was disgusting..... the smoke made the walls nasty, spray simple orange on the wallsm and it would streak down and be black and nasty before it stopped running...

But I think we should stop picking on smokers, if they want to smoke let them. Just dont ask me to ever EVER clean up after one again....

I think the anti-smoking nazi's are getting pretty bad... I often wonder why all this effort isnt spent against beer/liquor consumption instead.

Smoking harms the smoker.  Alcohol can harm others through drunk driving, abuse, etc.  (not I dont want to hear about second hand smoke - you dont get any cause we cant smoke anywhere except huddled in the corner or a closet somewhere anyway - and if youre in the same closet, move *******.)

Smoking makes my clothes stink. The drink related analogy would be someone vomiting on my shoes. One happens everytime I go out, while the other doesn't. With all due respect, **** smoking. :)

I used to smoke BTW. But I was young and stupid.

If someone pukes on my shoes they are going to know about it. :)

Smoking was easy to quit......

I quit 3 years ago on April 7th, it was a Friday, and I had my last smoke about 7:00pm that night...   yea it was easy.
