Title: Snow map, Desert map, Different Is map.

How about some Bigger maps, I mean at least 2 or more times the curent map size, and with more bases at least 2 times more and with different landscaps, like a winter map, snow would look cool, a desert map, why not use the med map for MA use make it a little larger and divide it up for MA play?, and how abot a different Is map bigger and with suply convoy's or barges insetad of trains?, and V bases capable of suporting sea planes?


     We are only limited by our imagination :)

Yeah a snow map... preferably one of the Ardennes, would be very cool in scenarios too.

Snow and desert are cool.

Maps are big enough.

Get rid of AWACS and we'll find more room...

glad to see someone else besides myself would like a desert map. i've been pleading for one for the last couple o' months...but as of yet, to no end.  

and i agree, a winter terrain, with lots of snow (and possibly some penguins and mooseseseseses) would be nice as well.     :D

one of the main reasons i'd like to see a desert terrain is because I'M SO DAMNED TIRED OF MOUNTAINS....MOUNTAINS MOUNTAINS EVERYWHERE!     :mad:   i mean, some are fine, but it appears that whoever made these maps (and i'm not squeakin' about them...they're great...except for all the damned mountains.  lol) must have been a mountain goat.

as i've posted before...in my own posting, and in response to others' as well:  I WANNA DESERT MAP!  I WANNA DESERT MAP!  I WANNA DESERT MAP!  I WANNA DESERT MAP!  I WANNA DESERT MAP! I WANNA DESERT MAP!....etc, etc, etc.     :p

Soon as HTC finishes the New editor, I'll fix my maps.

Nuttz, did u base those on the geographical data that is available for download?  When did you do those maps, I dont remember seeing them the last time.

Is there a better version of the terrain editor out? and is the help file very good for teaching you how to use it? thanks.

YUP, that and a few satalite photos.
I found a great chinese satalite, but then i got locked out :(

Crash, theres alot of maps you've never seen of mine.

Theres TE2 out. Pokie posted the Link in the TE folder.
As far as Help files, Somebody ( i forget who) also posted the "fixed" help files so the pics now show up.  
As far as doing the maps, well, they take time, commitment and a whole lotta patience.
Don't get discouraged at first, it does take some getting used to. Post any questions in the TE folder and 'Somebody" will jump in and answer them if they can ( "Pokie" is great for answering questions )

My time is Very, Very , limited at the moment , But January threw March I have more time to do the mapmaking.

Still One of my favorite maps. I purposely left the "hot" chick on the Clipboard map so people will explore the map. There is SOOOOOO much kewl atolls and Canyons, and the Huge Volcano in center with the cracks to furball in. Island hopping with multiple VFeilds for those who love GV fights over sand dunes.

Flying from center of map to the SE is such an awsome sight when the cliffs come into veiw.

BTW that map was made way before HTC added water to land tiles.
