Title: Re-Arm Pad Suggestion
Post by: SirLoin on May 25, 2003, 11:46:38 AM: I would like to see the re-arm pad revised...Seeing how it would probably take longer to re-arm a plane than re-fuel,why not have it...

30secs: re-fuel

60secs: re-ammo

90secs:re-ordanence

It would be FUN to see how many kills you could get with 1 load of ammo and re-fueling in a P47(or even a Yak)...:)

What you guys think?

Post by: Yeager on May 25, 2003, 12:24:32 PM: It would also be nice to change load outs on the re-arm pad as well but I recall PYRO saying something like "we thought about that and its not going to happen" (way back when PYRO used to actually play "in" the game).

So keep on coming with those re-arm pad suggestions :)

45 secs for ord
60 secs for repairs

Now that would really be nice :)

Seems to me if you can DIE and be back up in 2 secs, you shouldn't have to wait over 15 for fuel... :D

Post by: AKWarp on May 26, 2003, 12:53:30 AM: Maybe a new entity on the airfield...a repair facility...maybe even use that extra camo-net hangar thing (the one that looks like a VH). Make that a repair facility. Park your plane in their and wait a minute or so for minor repairs (like missing aileron, etc) and maybe 2 mins or more for major repairs (like the engine, etc.

If ground crew would working in this times - that would be the best ground crew in the world. And that would be the best AF in the world.
Repair wings/gear replace engine in 60 sec wow!
Put 20 bommbs to lancaster in 45 sec execelnt!
15 sec fuel - you can't refuel car in this time.
If ground crew would cheking my plane Pre-Flight in this time I would afraid to fly :D

Maybe the one thin could be good - rearm pad should be hangar.
First it gives you defence from vulching. Secondly the hangar is the best place for ground crew to work.

er its a game :)

we already have a total refuel and rearm in 30 seconds now. The point is people are here to have fun so times are condensed.

I mean when was the last time an Airfield was totally destroyed and rebuilt in 30 minutes? the point with the 15,30 and 60 seconds is it means you have to sit for a minute in a vulnerable place in order to get repaired. Any longer and most wouldnt bother waiting.

you are absolutly right mostly just joking as a member of REAL maintence service. Only one thing is repair - I do not think that is is really good for rearm pad - if your plane get shooted by another one you have to take another - just like in real life if you can rearm a WW2 plane in 30 min but repair it takes much more time.

One more - if you land at the base with 25% of fuel aviable you can get 100%+drop tanks ????? I think that shuld be fixed
