Comming May 30th, if all goes well, we will be running a Brand new map by Kanttori, Okinawa. This map features Airfields that are custom made to match the actual airfields that were their, the tiles are also custom made to match the terain features as closly as posable. New Plane Skins By Ramzey are also included almost every plane revelent to the time and place has a new skin that befits this time frame. I just spent almost 3.5 hours flying around on this map and I must say it is freaking Awsome, the airfields are just great, the tiles are wounderfull and the imershion leval is very High, the clipboard is easly read and looks great as well.
Finialy we have a superb backdrop for our late war PAC set up's:)
The set up details will be posted mid week. But you US CV fans should get a stiffy over this one.

Tiles are by Squirrel and Clipboard map is becoming by Dux. This is poor self made CBM from "The Last Battle 1945" area:

And here are couple of examples from Squirrels great textures and Ramzey's awesome aircraft skins:

Picture 1 and 3 shows the two biggest Okinawa's Japanese airfields: Naha and Yontan. I have custom made them very historical with coral runaways, ack batteries and plane revitments.
All over the Okinawa Isle are little mannable gun batteries and Vehicle bases. The strategy and GV's spawn points arrows are similar than US attack ways in 1945: invasion to Yontan and Kadena coast's and then attacking to north and south.
Knowing the ack batteries amount in the isle and Axis side players eagerness, it is not easy to capture the island...;)

8-o (gasp)
WTG Kanttori!

Map is Superb! Congrats, Kanttori on what looks to be a great map!
I sincerely wish we some additional late war Japanese planes to go with this setup. If only if only if only....
D4Y Judy, B6N Jill, Ki.84 Frank, Ki.102 Randy would all be appropriate and give the IJ some variety and extra punch.

Skin the FW190A5 as a Ki100! :)

Congrats on another beautiful map
( I believe Kanttori also did the Finland map)
The airfields look awesome. Outstounding work on all parts.
This should become one of the CT's greatest and most requested setups I would imagine :D

pretty
cept floating ack batteries & long flights to short fights :)
-
its designed with a scenario in mind.
Not necessarily for a ct map. Although I am sure the CT CMs will get good usage out of it.

Their shoud be no long flight's or very few.
The map was designed with the CT in mind as much as with the CM next event.

CT is locked, so I test run the Okinawa map now in the Special events arena. Welcome everybody there to look the map!;)
Setup is almost the same than Brady have on next friday in CT!
