and still no reply from them to any of my e-mails cuz
i can find no # to talk to anyone bought it.

of no refunds ... any want to buy a FX 5800 ???

Drill my PNY 4200 blew up a few months ago...
PNY would not accept my RMA... They said i could have bought the card off ebay as a resale and wouldn't accept anything without the original receipt.. ( In my 10-15 years of dealing with computer products, just products in general I have never had a manufacturer not be able to cross reference the serial number on the product with your story and the shipto address where the manufacturer shipped that product, in this case CompUsa) My copy of my receipt that i drove to compusa and twisted arms to get was not acceptable...
Guess what now that they have dissenfranchised me with PNY and more importantly Nvidia I sent Nvidia a letter with my ATI receipt telling them as long as they house swindlers like PNY I cannot buy Nvidia any longer....
No reply from Nvidia... (2-3 months)
Its a shame becuase people like me put nvidia on the map by buying their products when they were on the new..
Riva 128 replaced my Monster 3dfx... Thanks to our valued customers.... what a laugh...
Whole technology sector going into the gutter... all these companies are somehow allowed to legally rob you becuase of the 1 mm print on the back of the user manual....
dont worry the sucker born every minute sales principle will backfire on them...
Free enterprise system will prevail...
PNY is blackballed... Nvidia until I hear a response from them is blackballed..
Its just that simple... shame too as I build nforce boxes for my customers and friends...
Rant Off....

I've heard nothing but disaster-stories from anything PNY lately. One of my friends had a PNY card fry up and after long, heated phone calls, finally got a replacement.
Hope you guys get your money back :(

It's almost certainly the video card and not the motherboard with problems. Unfortunately it sounds like PNY is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I'd try to return the card to the place where you bought it.

Check again, many states *require* a 30 day money back gurantee.
Lemon law comes to mind, but that may not be right

Never have trusted PNY for anything. They always seem to rush everything out the door and worry about fixing it later.
