Title: Upload image into pilot position?

Is it possible to place/load a picture of myself into the pilots position so that when you looked into my plane you would see me?  I have heard of this somewhere...

Nope, never heard of that option in AH.  You can load nose art but not a image mask on the pilots mellon.

First you have to have a squadron then you upload the art you want to HTC for approval and when/if they approve it, it will automatically download.

Nope, you can load nose art in any terrain, though it is squad specific.

I think you have confused the issue of loading your own artwork, which can only be done in your own terrain.  You can actually change your aircraft appearance with your own textures and art IF you put it in your own terrain.  You can't change it for other terrains you didn't create (like the main online arenas).  Lots of CT and Scenario setups have had their own artwork.
