Got a hold of Kanttori of Lentolaivue 32 last night in the CT and we talked about the Sunday Squad Ops.

He told me he registered his squad "Lentolaivue 32" for the Sunday Squad Ops way back in March...

Why is he not being contacted and reminded to get ready for the upcoming frame on Sunday ????


There are lots of top notch Euro squads out there, but I don't see us doing much to encourage their participation.  The SSO (my new acronym for "Sunday Squad Ops")  has every potential to become what the EMC & S3 events are for WB, I used to fly these events with great enjoyment.

Friday Squad Ops have already surpassed 200 participants every week, while us Euro heads are still floundering near 80  :(

Organised & tightly knit squads like Kanttori's Lentolaivue 32 & Lentolaivue 34 (Camo & Blauk's squad)  would enjoy this type of squad based event very much !  its setup is tailored very nicely to  the Finnish squads and I'm sure they would enjoy it very much.
What can we do to encourage them to join ?

Who will contact Kanttori ???  he says he already registered !

Hello, I'm here again after summer pause!;)

We have now our "Lentolaivue 32" Squad ready to service in Sunday Squad Ops, we have at least 6-8 pilots coming!

What must I do, where I can sign us etc.????

Well we are in the process of rebuilding things on HiTech's event server. For now send me an email address for you and the person you want as a secondary contact person for orders and such.

I will talk to Grayarea and see if we can activate you for next sunday's frame.

How many pilots will you field? Pick from the following ranges and remember that you can have -2 below the minimum and +2 over the max.

4-6
7-10
11-15
16-20
21-25
26-32

Any other squads interested in sunday please tell them to contact me via email or post on the BBS.

Viff, Ghostdancer is in charge of SquadOps, and has already posted a reply above yours saying they may be able to join in next Sunday.  :)
