100 years old today.... The efforts Bob Hope made for the USO through all the years were one of the kindest, selfless acts ever to come out of Hollyweird. Happy Birthday, Bob, may you live for another hundred years.

Nothing wrong with two threads dedicated to a man like Bob...wish there were still more entertainers like him...

Amen, Rip.

Happy Birthday, Bob
My favorite film of his is "The Princess and the Pirate" from 1944.

Anyone remember Cat Ballou? The scene where Bob is running around the room and the bad guy is chasing him? His classic line as he was running was "Only a coward would hit a fellow coward." Not only was that hilarious, but I've used that line several times to defuse a situation where it was likely I might end up getting my bellybutton handed to me.

Bob said to read the other thread.

Is this the move where there constantly running from screen to screen going from color to B/W and crazy stuff is happening?

A TRUE American Hero!
"I left England at age 4 when I realized I couldn't become King!"
(p.s. Caution Dowding, this man is very near and dear to the hearts of the majority of US Veterans)

Bob Hope is the only civilian ever to receive honorary veteran status.
