Hi guys

Since everything in the UK is way over priced I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good US computer store/website that offer very good deals on hardware and are able to ship to the UK?

I was mostly interested in seeing how much an ATI 9700 or 9800 would cost?

Haven't made my mind up whether I'll get a new card but no doubt any links will be good for future reference.

In 15 years of parts buying, I have never been so pleased with a vendor....great selection, couteous staff (they folks on the phone actually seem to know about computer parts).  They have some of the best feedback on resellerratings, bizrate etc.  And YES...they ship internationaly!  For international orders you need to call...no fax/email orders.

Now the only 9700 they seem to have is the AIW one, but you could ask.  They do only take phone orders for international.


On a side note...Im sure someone here in the states would be happy to pick you up a 9700 or 9800 and ship it to you if thats all you are looking for.

Prices are great, they carry a huge variety, and their customer service is excellent.

Recently had a problem with a system I built back in Feb, they are accepting the whole bundle back, (mboard, cpu,ram) will test, replace as needed & send working system back to me.

Just a rough comparison

Radeon 9800 Pro in US is around $390  (approx. £244)

Radeon 9800 Pro in UK is £346 which is around $554 !!!!
