if you'd like i'll mail you my scaling and deadband/damper file for the stick... i have basically the same stick except mine is force feedback.  i've sent my settings to those with the MS PP2 and it seems to work out for them in reducing most of the bounce.

First, in setup/joystick/forcefeedback, go in & turn FF off, it is on by default.

I have the Prec 2 & would be glad to send you my setup.

Or email me & I can send you screen shots of how to set sliders, & damper to smooth it out a lot.

Tatertot be glad to try to show you a thing or 3.

I work evenings 3 or 4 nights a week.

Mornings I ussually fly for an hour in main, so afternoons are the best time to catch me in the TA.

Easier to setup a time to meet perhaps?

Ahhh that explains a lot.

Ussually if I'm on after work (10:30 central) I tend to go to the CT.

Fly in main but if I find you we can head to the TA for some practise.

you want jpegs?  it'd be much easier to simply send u the files... you'd backup/copy/move/whatever your current files located in the ah settings folder (easiest would be just to copy (not move) that whole folder to a safe place for backup,  and then unzip and d/l the files i send to the ah settings folder... then u merely take a gander at them in the setup/joystick and maybe test 'em out offline or online... if you don't like, simply copy back from that backup folder, the file needed to restore you to your former dweeby glory.  :D

there are several file types you might be interested in, some are applicable to any j/s with an 8-way hat and a viewset toggle button to make use of 16 views, 17 if you count the standard forward view.

here are the file types....

stick.cfg (scaling, deadband/damper across the various j/s axii)

.hps (the Head Position Setting for each plane, i.e. where your view will be when u use the hatswitch)

you may or may not need the view.kmp to work with the hatswitch views and .hps files.

jsmap.cfg (j/s button mapping - i like the way i have mine setup and they'll work with ms pp and ms ffb2, which are identical except for the force feedback)

.slv is basically salvo setting for each plane.

.cfg is basically your guns convergence for each plane.

not sure where the fuel and ord files are... they're there somewhere i'm sure.

anyhoo... lemme know what you want...  stick.cfg would be the only basic file u needed, especially if you're happy with everything else.

soooooo  file or jpegs?
