Title: Give Me The Good Earth
Post by: Ozark on June 07, 2003, 07:03:15 PM
Manfred Mann's Earth Band

Can you remember the 70's? ;)

I was just looking over the 100's of 8-Track tapes in my collection.
Sure wish I had a working 8-Track player.

I bet you've got a lot of those old disco tunes like "Do The Hustle" eh, Ozark? Tell the truth now :p (naaa, I know you're a blue grass guy)

Funny, I have no idea what happened to the 8 tracks I had... I guess they just melted away into history when I wasn't looking ...

That Disco s#!^ made me "Freak Out"!

No, just the Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Chicago, Willie Nelson, BTO, REO and other goodies.

Remember forcing a book of matches in the corner of the 8-Track player to stop the drag?

LOL... Yes, I've camped at many Bluegrass Festivals in my time... how ya know? ;)

The 8-Track Player.  I think it was originally designed for auditory pleasure but was eventually relegated to the "Torture Device" camp because the music it played was very, very bad.
