If your willing to let new players ride along in your plane, or willing to go DA and show them moves please post ID and reply to this post. Thank you
Rod367th
please use channel to ask first before join any of the following pilots.
Going for a flight in another players plane is how I learned to fly long ago. Get in flim how he or she flys and life will be easier. Good luck :)

Rod - you're full of good initiatives! :)
Excellent idea. How about starting a library of films for the newbs to view? That would get around the problem of guys being on different time zones from their teachers.
-
I`m a dweeb, but i know the maneuvers and shoot guys more often than they shoot me.
Name`s dtx ingame. Ask me, join me, I`m glad to help out.

You are much better off with Swoop, but you can fly with me.

Good Idea Rod

I often get requests to be joined, even when in a fighter. I always let them in. The more the merrier I always say, so give me a holler anytime I'm on.
Probably not the right forum for this, but it would be nice to have range channel comms with whomever is in your plane with you. Sometimes I have a stranger gun for me in a buff, and not want to change from squad channel, or give them the frequency.
-
I always let people join me....but all I do is show them how to die:eek:
-
I can help. Don't know if just watching from cockpit without explanations is helpful but will help some time in the private, I could give some useful pointers.
muut.

I am definately willing to help. I have a training website up, but I can only help people in the H2H arena. I lost my Aces High account. My website is... http://aceshightraining.freewebspace.com! Any newbies interested in training please go there.

i've been doing this and will continue to do so.
just bear in mind, no vox - no biggie.
if i use terms that are unfamilar, just ask and i'll do my best to explain them.
people are also welcome to use /.join in whichever arena they see me in.
-
As long as they ask before hand, I'm always willing to let those that want to learn something join my plane. Usually it's those that want to learn the P-38 but I've also taken those that want to learn tactics as well.
Ack-Ack

Well, if they want to learn to fight in an early-war and mid-war plane, I'll let them ride in the back. I could use the extra set of eyes.
-
Sounds like a good idea to me.
Note: Game ID is Mazz, NOT Saurdorkkrautker.
-
I'm not extremely good but am willing to help out
game id: Wadke

I always accept a join request
-
This is a good idea!
I am not on as much as those above, nor as good, but I am patient and more than willing to help. :)

I too always accept join requests if I am not in a fight. I keep the join requests in the text buffer so the popup dosen't get me killed so it may take me a min or two to see the message, so don't get disharted if I dont immediately respond with the .accept message. I am not as good as some of the others but I am trying so join up maybe you can teach me something too.

I get stage fright !! :)
Seriously...i'll be having a halfway decent night at the stick, giving as much as I get and HOing every Nik I can find, when someone will send a jon request....I let 'em in, and immediately what little I do know about flyng and fighting in this game goes out the window!....suddenly i cant even break left without falling backwards out of the sky, and as for shooting stuff...forget it :)
H he, having said that, I'm fine for taking on passengers, if I''m on, feel free to join up.

I have no problems letting someone on a ride a long. I'd even go so far as to invite people who don't have anyone to wing with to come Rooks, and find my squad in the arena. We do some pretty good wingman tactics, and have often had people from other teams fly with us for a while to see what we do.
-
I tend to forget I've got a passenger completely.
Just sitting in a cockpit watching really helped me when I first started though, I was having a hell of a time getting used to this sim and I hitched a ride with Hangtime one night in a P51D.......Citabria was flying in the area as well so I got to watch two pro's do their thang.

I let people join any time.
-
I let people join frequently also...s'ok with me if they want to see how to die in a Jug
-
Average stick but always willing to take on riders. Just PLEASE ASK 1st on the radio before typing the join request. I've gotten the popup at the worst times...

I'll be glad to demonstrate the proper method of lawndarting. :)

I would especially recommend you ask Shane about the term 'Slobberdonkey' :D

Ready to accept joiners. At the very least, you will have a lot of chances to "unjoin" :D

and my response would be: look in your mirror.

I always worry I'm not showing them good habits like Shane and Manx do. But if they wish to be bored watching how best to loose your tail section quickly,,by all means.:D
-
Would be glad to have riders. Rode with WarDog in his 51D when I first started, helped a ton.

Not a bad idea for some of the "old" sticks in the game either, I did a ride awhile ago with NB, jeez prob about 6 tours ago now that I think about it, but I digress, it was an eye opening experience, watched him make some killz that I know for sure I would have either overshot or tried to in on before the bogey made his "move". I realized then how I was missing a lot of opportunities by not paying attention to the bogies E, and the planes maneuvarabilty, I probably will take Shane up on his offer, cuz I watched him go into the same crowd I was floating down in my chute from, and get 3 and fly away as I was going...jeez, not even one friggin ping :)

Also, more than willing to at least teach the basics, getting up and basic maneuvers, after that, they better find someone with a clue :)
