HTC: Would it be possible to remove some of the default text from the Landed Victories message, so that the full squadron names can be displayed?

Current Message: PlayerX landed XXX victories in a PlaneX of PlayerX's Squad Name

By now, most everyone knows it's landed victories, so would it be possible to make the message read as:

PlayerX : XXX victories : PlaneX of PlayerX's Squad Name

For me, part of the fun is knowing the squads that are landing kills. As it is now, a lot of the squad name is cut off.

I would prefer something more descriptive:

RA ran away like a little girl and managed to land 3 vulches

I don't think it is a problem with the length of the default text, it is more the length of some of the squad names...eg: XXX landed X victories in a (planetype) of the "Howling Banshee's of the 127th glider wing reservists, in the morning squadron...Recruiting".  In which case, I don't care to know who is landing these kills. If I can't read it in the time it takes me to glance at it, it is wasting time and attention  :cool:

maybe AH2 will have a linewraping text buffer.

How about upping the number of kills required in order to make the headlines for some planes.  ie the la7 should be a minimum of 4 kills landed, where as the spit1 should get a banner for 1 kill.

just allow us to resize the text buffer.

If i want it to be half the size of my screen (horizontally) and display 6 lines of text, i'd just drag and resize the text buffer a-la windows.

Or simply make the text buffer take the entire bottom of the screen and be  done with it =)
