Title: Poop in the Toilet!

My 4 yr old son did his job in the toilet at daycare today!

Woohoo! There is a God afterall.

Anyone who has struggled with a reluctant child will know the joy in my heart today. :)

It's ok, Eagler. Nothing much to the story, just a slower learner on the pot. I'm just a really happy daddy tonight. Finally seeing the end of the pull-ups stage.

Post by: fd ski on June 10, 2003, 07:14:21 AM: my daughter learned to point at the pot and make grunting noises when she needs to go :) From 8th month on she almost never craps her diper anymore. Always *grunt* *grunt*, daddy does a 10 meter dash for the pot, mommy goes though 5 second "undress on the fly" project and she's all set :)

The pot she's got has electrical lead endings on the bottom, and if they are connected via either wiz or poop, they play a song :) Don't ask, grandparents bought it :D

think ur happy - how bout the poor daycare ppl wondering what the heck - he's 4!
just thought 4 was rather old - if it ain't happening by the end of two there is usually an underlying cause/issue .. besides the fact his daddy still craps his pants on occasion :)

how's he doing with that bottle? make sure he knows your beer bottle and his ba-too ain't the same and he should take to the sippy cup soon ... gl

But what about diapers at night ?

My 4yr old does a good job of goint to poop or pee IN TIME, and can do it on a regular-size toilet (we had a stepping block in the beginning, now he does without).

But he still uses diapers at night. He even LIKES to poop in them. We made it through some experimental nights with about a 50% bed-dry-rate.

Any hints ?
