Title: Even in the wasteland of Pizza sometimes you find a Toad..
Post by: nopoop on June 09, 2003, 10:27:09 PM
And with that I rediscover the "essence" of why I'm flying here in the first place.

Great fight Toad, it's filed away with the rest of the great "fights" that make my juices flow.

Salute'

You made my tour.

Yes, NP, it was memorable.

I thoroughly enjoyed it; rekindles the old excitement from AW DOS days when one gets in that kind of knife fight.

I think you would have wiped the deck with me except for my early shot on your rudder. In fact, I'm certain you would have.

BTW, to Scott as well. He came barreling in not long after we finished and he and I had a pretty memorable go-round. He certainly pressed me beyond the envelope that I've used the -1 in prior to this. I think I got lucky with him too. My ears are still ringing with the stall horn sound.

He did delay my return to the CV with leaking oil long enough to force a ditch.

All in all, a fun 10 minutes that makes the game.

I look forward to a rematch!

what beetle is saying is.... "I hate it when people compliment each other.. It's not fair that the only person who has ever got on the BB and went into great detail about how good I am is.... me."

YOU would never toot your own horn, or diss anybody else, would you, lassie.

You're still a jerk.  Try working on that.

back atcha! Don't know if you were lucky or not, I certianly felt I wasn't winning!

I was trying to extend just a little, and was thinking "maybe I should just wait until he runs out of oil..." when Qwest decided to punish that despicable thought with a disconect.

again
