I just installed "spybot" and i can surf the net with ease without those annoying pop ads on my screen. Are you tired of pop ads? If yes, try "Spybot".

Why not shut off Messenger (not Windows IM) in the services list, then run Adaware.  Never have them again and not have to run some other software to trap them.

You guys look for hard ways to solve easy problems?

You are right JB.  I was referring to either Windows 2000 or XP.

You have to run msconfig in 98se to shut it off.
