Title: Saitek cyborg 3d wont install.......HELP!!

I just purchased a Saitek cyborg 3d joystick, but cant seem to get it to install. I downloaded the necessary software+driver from saitek.com (SD_WinNT_3_2_0_18master) but even then it wont install......
Goes upto the point where it asks me to connect the stick but then the software doesnt detect the stick.


What should i do?

I am running windows2000, 1Ghz P3, 256MB ram...

are you sure the usb port is active?

Pretty sure its active.....i have a usb tv card and a usb storage device and both work on the port. For some reason windows 2000 doesnt recognise the controller and calls it a USB device. Tried it on my friends PC and it seems to do the same thing.
Could it be tht my joystick is faulty?

Hmm, what motherboard do you have ? Might be a problem with the USB Adapter.

You should be able to plug it to the PS/2 port with an adapter (again ;)) piece. Be sure to up the PS/2 frequency to 200Hz then (google for "ps2rate")
