Also, how do I get rid of the text radio box and keep only the vox box on screen?
Why is vox called Radio V in the help file when in fact it is Radio 5?
So many questions..........

You can't. When you bring up the radio chat buffer, you'll also see the channels for vox because it's part of the radio system.

It's to let you know that the last channel is the one that you can tune to the various vox channels. And if you really want to get technical, Radio V is the same as Radio 5 because V is 5 in Roman numerals.

Yeah well the 5 V thing is bally confusing when you are a beginner and you type .radio V Moochie into the radio bar as per the Help file and blow all happens.

Now guess why I like the Val ;)

I thought the "V" was for voice so that it wouldn't be confused with as the 5th text channel
It seems a little silly to have numbered the first four channels numerically then choose to number the 5th channel with Roman numerals.

Radio 5 is the only radio that can be tuned to VOX, whether is the Squad Vox, a Mission's Vox, a numbered Vox channel or a direct Vox contact with another player (player's name entered into the window, similarly to sending PM on text). Radio 5 is therefore the only radio capable of being used for VOX and that is the reason it shows a V..... nothing to do with Roman Numerals! ;)

Whenever anyone speaks on Vox, their name appears in the top right corner and stays there for about a second or so after they finish speaking, so glancing up at the top right corner when you hear someone talk will always tell you who it is. If their name appears in Yellow, they are talking on a tuned channel (not necessarily one you are tuned to; for example if you join a Mission, you will hear the Mission vox even if you are not tuned to Mission on vox yourself; similarly someone can tune to you privately and talk to you), if their name appears in Purple, they are talking on the Room/Range channel.
There is an excellent site on Using the Radio (http://www.netaces.org/ahradio/radio.html#title) at Netaces.org, which fully explains all aspects of the AH radio system. :)
