Is Cooper's Brewery a popular brand down under? I bought some of their Extra Stout tonight and it's pretty damn good! Reminds me of Guiness but drier.

You see it about in Sydney occasionally and it is pretty good.
My current favourites are Boags from Tasmania and the Little Creatures Brewery (which I believe is up near Darwin).

Carlton Draught for me...or Melbourne Bitter (funnily enough when I'm in Melbourne)...or the ubiquitous Victoria Bitter...

I agree, You don't see much Cooper's as much around in Sydney.

I use Coopers for homebrewing, it's pretty good.

I used to like Castlemaine XXX, but they don't sell it up here any more :(

Yep,Coopers is pretty good,i tend to drink Melbourne bitter at home and James Squires pale ale when in public ;)
