Lazs is right, MA is full of Jerry's kids building battlers. Thought I would give the ma a try last night . Flew for about 30 minutes untill I ran out of gas, not one fight . Just buffs and fighters that would run and run and run and then auger on a base . Then I went to a h2h room and some fun .

Simple response: Played Pizza last night.
Found good furballs (by my definition good furball=I had fun)
Learned a thing or 2.
Shot down some fighters. Shot down some bombers. Bomber a few fighter hangars. Went to bed with a smile.
Maybe my real life is such a biatch that I'm just easily entertained.

Honest to God, I was trying to help you out last night, though I was not sure if you were on.
I was calling out any decent furball I could find and putting it on country channel. I'm serious, too. Never did that before, but I was thinking about all the posts and figured if I could help the furballers a little, it was worth a shot.

I had a blast last night ...
Ran into Toad and crew coming off a CV ... <> guys.
Ran into Manx and others while defending a high alt base ... <> to you guys too.
Ran into dogspit and others furballing between two bases <>
The secret is to look for the little red dots coming to a green colored field. Jump into your favorite ride, climb to a comfortable alt. Yes you might run into the suicide dweebs that fly right past, but chances are you will also run into a couple that want to mix it up.
All in all, I handed out a few cans of "whoop ass" and also recieved a few cans myself, but had a blast nevertheless.

I'm not a bigot, people who are physically debilitated don't make good fighter pilots, thats what I'm comparing them to.
BTW moron is someone who has a disabiltiy too, but I'm smart enough to know that by using that word you aren't making fun of the disabled .

im lucky i have a milder form, that alows some arm movement,which allows me to fly AH and play other games.

I dont know what this 'jerry' crap is all about but if its what i think it is its really not very funny is it.
Having had some experience of being diabilitated Id have to say that it was most common for the disabled fellas i knew to take the mick out of each other.If you cant laugh you go under pretty quick.That doesnt mean its ok for everyone t join in.
Suave the only thing i found offensive in what you said was that disabled or dihabilitated people dont make good pilots. How the F*ck would you know? ever met any disabled who fly?
Douglas Bader was a fantastic pilot in WW2 during the battle of britain and he had no legs.In fact it was suggested that due to the lack of limbs he could actually pull a greater 'G' than other pilots.His tenacity in dealing with the injuries also stood him in good stead to command in battle.It takes a hard headed personality to fight on when it all looks bleak.
I myself have been in a wheelchair for most of my life since a motorcycle accident at 18 years of age and yet ive done some 6 parachute jumps, flown gliders, sword fenced for my country and Ive even White water rafted the Sun Kosi river in Nepal(thats where mount everest is in case you are ignorent of that too :)). We(5 of us in chairs +6 able bodied rafters) were the first disabled ever to do it. 270km of class 2 to 5 rapids. 10 days travelling down river and i almost drowned twice but luckily my strength in my hands saved me. I wouldnt be too sure that the average person who doesnt use his hands everyday for ballance and lifting etc could have held on the way i did.What have you done suave? anything worth a mention here?
You seem to be missing something out in your assessment of people suave. You fail to see what they have acheived simply by not giving up or into their disability and believe me not everyone handles it when the terrible events take place that change your whole life around.
The fact that whels has MD and he still gets on with life says a lot about his constitution and character.What have you overcome or coped with suave, that gives you the right to chastise whels for being slightly upset with you for making a dumb joke of his condition?
If i were you Id have just said sorry rather than call him an idiot.You see sometimes we can indeed laugh about things but other times things cut to the bone.Whels was probably caught on an off day when it 'gets to you' and may not have reacted that way if not for a mood hes in.Then again maybe hes seen what name calling does to the little kids who have MD? who knows? .I only hope you never have to experience what it feels like and im sure whels would say the same thing.He wouldnt wish it on his worst enemies.
Just show some respect for others feelings eh?
If you make a joke about missing limbs and a guy with 1 leg says it isnt funny a simple sorry isnt so difficult is it? I tell jokes about stuff ive been through but if they upset people i generally appologise.Not everyone deals with things in the same way.

dont get me wrong i didnt want to jump on you but I do however realise that somedays when a disability gets to you you tend to be over sensitive to jokes about it. Often it wouldnt even register or offend but you do get off days and my guess is whels was on one when he read that.I also appologise for jumping on yer ;)

Whels pissed me off when he called me a bigot, there isn't much worse you can call a person. He doesn't know anything about me or what I've done for the physically disabled and terminally ill. He just saw an opportunity to misplace some anger . He can wear out his stenograph for all I care, he's ignored now :)
If Douglas Bader was still flying planes, he wasn't debilitated in that respect, even though he may have been disabled. That is what I meant .

My next big task im setting myself is sea kyaking. I'll first learn to master it then i'll look for something that hasnt been done and I'll do it. Generally guys oin my position seem to do these sorts of things to boost their morale every few years.I'd really recommend trying something yourself if you feel like you need a boost.
Try doing a tandem parachute jump for charity.You will be buzzing for weeks afterwards.

Too go off on the use of the term "Jerry's Kid's" is just too damn good to pass up. Especially in this playgound of a BBS. So no, I don't think I will.
