Title: radar limits

I am wondering to level or (alt.) the radar is effective.  Can you fly under the radar or is that impossible to do?????:)

Stay under 500 feet AGL (above ground level) and you're under dar (both dot dar and bar dar).  Enemy bases will still start to flash when you get in range of them though, so you won't be able to strike totally unannounced.
