Title: Anybody see that movie "Old School" with Will Farrell?
Post by: Udie on June 13, 2003, 10:28:54 AM: I saw it last night. The movie was OK, but it had one part that I think was the funniest scene I've ever seen in a movie.

Therefore for that one scene I must recommend this movie to all...

That one scene is worth the 10 bucks I think. The movie is OK but it's no animal house. I'm still laughing over that dart scene though....

yeah, but then again, I'll buy almost any decent DVD if it's 10 bucks.

If its the scene I'm thinking of, then yeah, the movie rental was worth that one scene, plus a few others such as the tranq dart scene, the "spirit test" part of their qualification exams, the conversation leading up to Ferrell's character doing the beer funnel ("yeah, I've got a pretty wild Saturday planned. First I'm going to Home Depot, then maybe a stop at Bed, Bath, and Beyond..."), leading up to "Hey, everybody! We're going streaking!". And the cemetary scene is pretty funny, too. "Dust, in the wind....all we are is dust in the wind...".

The initiation scene was so funny that my wife had to pause the film and wipe the tears from her eyes while we regained our composure. I couldn't get up off the floor!

By the way, the DVD has some extra scenes that are interesting. And the DVD opens the menu section with a quick intro scene of the two wrestling girls taking off their t-shirts. Gotta love a movie that starts right off with female skin.

I give VanWilder the nod as being just a bit more Animal Housesq. But both movies are pretty damn funny.
