Has anyone had their hat switches die? What did you do? Turn in the whole stick or purchase replacement parts?

I RMAed one about 8 years ago for a broken hat, and they gave me a brand new stick.  Actually both RMA's I have had with CH resulted in me getting brand new equipment.
(Although one of them was after they shipped my equipment to some lady in New Jersey) :)

If it happened now I'd probably buy the spare parts of their site and try to fix it, because shipping isn't cheap, and I'm too impatient to wait for the RMA process to be completed.

Since no one replied, and I don't have any CH sticks... I think someone in our squad, Strider, just bought a replacement hat for his CH.  It's a 4 way, and it can be easily converted to an 8 way with a dremel, or file.

Sorry, that's about all I know :)  Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. I think Im just going to RMA the stick. It's starting to spike now. Wont stay centered after calibrations, best to get a new stick. Guess I will be in vehicles for a week.
