Sourdicker is always telling me about how good he is at his kiddie racing game, so I'm going to show him how the real wannabe sim racers do it.

I installed it and drove about 20 laps at Spa.  Very entertaining.  The Viper is a sweetie.  My only gripe is that the force feedback is kind of numb and weak, even with the settings maxed out.  Doesn't feel nearly as "alive" as LFS or Rally Trophy.  And the graphics are a little dated.  But I still like it.  I found out there is a beta version of the Nordschleife available and I can't wait to try that.

You should also download Laguna Seca - fantastic track and very well done.

Plenty of cars to download too.

Skurj - I started out in the 993 GT2, really liked the feel of it once I learned how to avoid snapping it around - but I just always got better times in the 996TT.

Hey wait a minute... I think this is the first thread name after me (kind of).  Is there some sort of initiation ritual I must pass through?

Hopefully it wont involve SOB's avatar.

Man this is great - second only to puberty.  I finally feel like a real man...

Waiting for the 77 MOD, and a good CanAm MOD.

Been driving the SCR MOD, very good.

Funked, I still think you should join GROWL and drive GPL with us. I think you'd love it.

Thx banana.  I tried GPL again and it's just so... old.  And I never liked the force feedback support.

Are there any mirror's for the GTR2002.exe download? I'm only getting a 6.0kb throughput from the webpage on a T1 line. At 278 meg, that would be an all day sucker.

Thanks,

wizzer
