I got of work today to find that 1.03 had been RELEASED!  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)  After 2 hours of downloading I finally got to try it a little offline tonight.

WOW!

My framerate didn't drop AT ALL.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)  (Except for the smoke.  That KILLS fps down to 15.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif) But, hey, for all this I can live with it.)

I also found a neat little dot command that just looks cool. Type ".time 23 59 500"  This sets the clock to just before midnight and makes the sun move REALLY fast.  Simply awesome!

The prop drag and ground effect sure does make a difference though. (For the better IMO after a little relearning how to fly.)

I did notice a bug in the b17 model.  The top turret is gone.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Also, the p51 sure seems hard to keep from stalling.  (I mean REALLY hard.)

On the whole though I have to say it exceeded my expectations.  (I'll bet the arena sure was warpy tonight with all the downloading going on?  Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it online yet.)

So far i'm impressed!!

Took the A5 up last night!

6 kills, 2 assist and only 2 deaths!

For me this is very, very, good!

My frame rate was always smooth but I lost about 4 FPS overall!

My landings are smoother and the rearm and refuel stations simply ROCK!!!!

Don't like the smoke.  It should spread out more as it rises.  Now it looks like a black funnel over an airfield!    (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Pony stalling ? I had no probs at all, as long as you keep it fast...

Weird thing happened though, I landed on the Runway (No dammage)...I come to a stop (landing the pony doesn't take a full runway anymore)..at about 1MPH, My gear collapses & Boum...dead !

 I love the Yak, Zeke, 190, the new P-38 (with the dive brake!) and all the other new features. Haven't even used many of them yet but I will be shortly  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

All of it is awesome. 'Cept the FPS hungry smoke.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)     I found I had to abbreviate my view to minimum to be able to even "stagger, stagger, fly" near it
