Title: anyone ever break the wings off a c.205 in a turn?

i did 2 times last night. both were stppe upwards turns at medium speeds... more later gotta work. :rolleyes:

laugh it up... :(

both times i was above 10k when it happened. i dove from about 15 towards a con then came up and over to the right blackout. i have had the "stress" sound come up alot in fights in the 205, but these times the "stress" sound didnt happen... just snap snap.

actually the first time only the wingtips came off. the second both whole wings gone. barley any warning. noone got a kill on me either time and there were no shots @ me so it wasnt a "golden bb" shot.

Ps. yes both wing tanks were dry. (i always drain them first)

That happened to me in the CT last night.  

And I thought it was that P-38 that was shootin' at me!

Nope, only thing I do consistently in the 205 is score a lot of kills...think "One more then back to base"  and the engine sputters out.....out of gas

Sure glides nice with wings tho  ;)
