Title: The night war
Post by: juzz on November 14, 1999, 11:03:00 PM
Is there any interest out there in flying night missions?

You would probably need 2 or more crew for most planes - pilot and radarop/gunners.

European/Russian theatre: 1940-1945.

Plane list(incomplete):

He111
Ju88
Do17Z/215/217
He177
Blenheim
Hampden
Other early British bombers?
Wellington
Halifax
Stirling
Lancaster
B-25 Mitchell
Russian bombers I don't know?
Bf109
Fw190
Bf110
Ju88
Do217
He219
Me262
Do335 (what if?)
Fw189
Hurricane
Mosquito
Beaufighter
P61 "Black Widow"
Russian nightfighters?

I think it'd be great to have 30 minutes of dark every couple of hours or so - and once the night fighting planeset is beefed up go to equal time.

But could you stomach all the "whines" for a "radar padlock" Windle?  (http://www.halcyon.com/msbinder/images/evilgrin.gif)
