I am far too cautious (paranoid?) to do a show and tell about this sort of thing for the entire world via Internet.  But that's just me.:)

Erl has about $150 wrapped up in that there arsenal.

Effective for squirrel hunting, but not real BBS 'Wow'ing material.

Course if he gets hungry, he could stab a critter for some fixin's real quick like with that there fold up bayonet.

And thats a bonus.

I have a Russian SKS  ( looks like the one in the pic might be Chinese)  it's an accurate good rifle and you could take down a lot more than a squirl with those.

My uncle has an SKS as part of his home defense arsenal.  He left the bayonet in his garage, next to his samurai sword and assorted old ammo.  I asked him why and he said that he wants any intruders to be armed before he shoots them.

I'm strangely thinking of Bruce Willis when you mentioned him having a samurai sword :D

I wont post my whole arsenal, but here are couple of mine:

The top is a custom-made .338 Winchester Magnum.  It is built on a Springfield 1903 action and a Wenig stock.

The bottom is a Winchester Model 70 Supreme Classic rebarreled in .300 Holland & Holland Magnum.

Both guns wear Burris Fullfield II scopes with ballistic-plex reticles.

This is a Winchester Model 97 in 12 guage.

This might be my favorite.  It is a Belgein-made Browning Superposed Lightning 20 guage over/under shotgun.  My dad bought it new in 1964 and gave it to me two years ago.  I had it reblued and the wood refinished (he'd shot it alot in 37 years :D)

BTW, the ultimate hunting/shooting/guns website is here:
http://www.accuratereloading.com/
The people on their forums are incredible knowledgable and always happy to help.

Romanian AK47 7.62x39
Russian SKS 7.62x39
Colt 1911 A1 Mil .45ACP
Colt 1911 CC (4 inch) .45 ACP
SA 1911 Mil Spec .45 ACP
1923 Winchester .22
Winchester 1300 12G
1952 Remmington .410

Seeking: K98 7.92mm, Walther PPK .380

Had a bunch that my grandfather left to me (the 1923 is amazing - still looks brand new) and I'd like to get into collecting military firearms if finaces allow - Civil war rifles, maybe a Lee Enfield, etc etc.  Not too big into hunting - but enjoy shooting - handguns especially.

Oh, and if its not a 1911, its a ***** gun.

Ah, yes Creamo, it's true; I am poor and stuck with my lowly Curios & Relicas rifles.  Woe is me that can only someday hope to afford a toy rocket collection like yours, no doubt the envy of all the 4th grade elementary schoolers in the neighborhood.

Thanks.  Yep it's real.  I'll have to wait till I get home tonight to post the serial number and year.  I've had it reblued and the wood is aftermarket, but it's got the US Armory stamp on the left side of the reciever.  And on the barrel IIRC.  My dad had cut the stock short to put a kickpad on it, so I got rid of the original wood when I fixed it up.  Which was a bummer because there was an Armory stamp on the stock also.

BTW, the value of original 97's have gone way up with the popularity of cowboy action shooting.  You might see how much yours is worth before you change it.  Mine was scratched to hell and had lost a lot of bluing, so I didn't worry about it when I fixed mine up.

Personally, I think posting on a public BBS of "what you have" could possibly lead to home break-in's in the future.  So lets just say I have weapons. :)

Well, I can remember telling someone at school that we had 21 guns, and that 2 were collectibles.  Not 3 weeks went by and someone broke into our house and stole 11 of them, including a Parker 1911 side-by-side.  Luckily they left the 1878 .45-70...

That's cool, Ripsnort.  I'm sure the felons would be glad to steal your BMW (with matching garage carpet) that you've posted about many, many times in lieu of your collection of firearms.

The BMW is new...take it..its insured. The guns, priceless since they're handed down within family....but I wouldn't expect you to know family values..;)

I thought that was the point of having all those guns was that no one would go near you?????? Home defense and all that. On this side of the pond they won't let you have a gun unless you build a secure cabinet, reasoning that's you are most likely to be burgled to get the guns.

My arsenal consist of a plastic Browning Hi-Power replica that fires deadly yellow plastic balls which could cause a nasty sting but it looks real in a dark room and a few .22LR rounds left over from a range day.

Make my day, creep!

swoopy, they ain't that big anymore.  Seaman has been let go.  ;)

My dad still has all the shotguns that will be eventually handed onto me.  Couldn't tell you models or years, I'm not really into them that much.   The 12 gauge was my maternal grandfather's, the 20 gauge my paternal grandfather bought in the 60's from someone (so I have no clue how old it was when he bought it) and the .410 was my dad's first gun as a kid, so it was new back in 1960 or so.
