Title: How come chutes have nearly as many kills as 109's

Chutes vs. Any - chutes have a pretty good kill ratio.

Post by: CombatWombat on November 16, 1999, 04:23:00 PM: They cheat becuase when someone tries to strafe them they alt+F4, causing the attacking plane to automatically stick-stir, and it slowly drifts into a mountain.

You HO a guy.. and you wing each other or hurt each other bad. You bail out and hang in the silk.. he dies or bails while you are in the silk. Voila.. one kill for the chute driver.

Any situation where you get the kill message after bailing will likely chalk one up for the chutes.

Post by: JoeMud on November 17, 1999, 02:57:00 PM: those are gunned buff chutes my freinds ive killed a 109 while in a freinds chute because when i was gunning he bailed and i got to take the wholw plane with me in chute ;-)

BUT....hehe I KNOW know that Joemud is right too because I hit the bail button after being shot down in a B-17 that Joe was gunning for me and accidently hit the O and opened chute a lettle too high. Several fighters seemed to like the idea of straffing my chute! I didn't know but the plane had crashed so Joe was attached to my chute.. but with his guns hehe! he killed the Bastige and sent him to the deck!! SWEET REVENGE! but it is a bug! Post by: hitech on November 17, 1999, 05:00:00 PM: Found the bug today. The chute kills are kills awared to someone who has bailed. I.E. you damaged a plane, Bailed, While in you chute the plane you shot dies. The system awards you a kill and you are currently in a chute.

I'ts fixed for the next release.
