Title: finding a low buff form
Post by: tatertot on June 23, 2003, 09:37:51 PM
ok lets say your heading out of a base and you run across o lets say 3 17s do you drop ords and engage or continue onto target?
also if a guy ups a form to defend a base do you get all giddy or do you think what a jerk? just a couple of questions. seems when i up a form of ki67s and can get up i take a few with me before goin down was just wondering if it was doing any good or was i padding someone rank.and on low buffs into a base some guys  cant lay off a good bomber target

Personally i'll engage low buffs if something is in danger like a CV
Also i will engage them if no other cons are around.... It's pretty funny when a guy ups formation after formatio at a vulched errr surpressed :D  field

How many defenders do we have at the base?  If there are many, then tell 'em about the incoming raid, and go on about your own business.

If not enough defenders, then decide whether your mission is more important than the damage he will do,and act accordingly.

Low buffs make me happy.  As dweeby as ackstars are, I don't think I've ever been shot down by one.  Free kills as far as I'm concerned.

However, I won't put myself at a disadvantage to another fighter to get myself a buff kill and then die.  If there are high-alt enemy fighters in the area, I deal with them first.

Whether I'd ditch my bomb to hit a buff formation... I don't know.  Depends on how important my target is.

Chances are the guy flying the low alt buff is'nt going to hit anything anyway.

Ignore him, or take the free kills, you're choice, but 9 time out of 10, your base is not in any danger.
