Jimmiet;
Use (http://)
You have to use a file from a web page only.
Go to the "Spit Cockpit Re-visited" thread under "Vehicles and Aircraft". Verm does a good job of describing how to do this.
Hope this helps.

Actually Minotaur, Jimmi can't turn on HTML here. This serice uses its own version of HTML called "UBB". Sure, they are abbreviated HTML codes, but they are limited and don't let users do some nasty things HTML might.
Jimmi, by clicking on the link below (UBB Code) you can see what commands you have available.
BTW, I have run a similar system (same software) for 2 years now, so I am very familiar with its workings. It's pretty slick, as BBS's go. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

You can find most of what you need by going to the FAQ. Or ,when you are posting a message, click on the link labelled *UBB Code is ON which appears to the left of the message as you compose it(under the words Your Reply. Lastly you can go direct http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/ubbcode.html (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/ubbcode.html) for your UBB code explaination

Jimmie.. the problem is that you have used the wrong ISP name in your UBB tag.
It should be 'bigpond', not 'bigpound'
