You know who you are,and I for one promise you this. If you ping me and then alt/f4 after I shoot you down,I WILL auger just to find out who you are.Then I`m going to MAKE SURE EVERYONE ELSE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE! I busted one of you tonite doing it,HMMM,go figure-he`s in the top 10.<sarcasm mode on> Gee I wonder how he does that?<sarcasm mode off> It sure isn`t due to the pilot skills he displayed tonite,if I can shoot him down he isn`t THAT GOOD! You have been warned-no more free rides for you chicken sh*ts.(and before you flame me about disco`s I checked his stats-he doesn`t have any!)

You know what, weazel? I checked my score and have noticed that I have no discos eitherr, but I know that I've been dumped a few times via HTC's server. Not trying to burst your bubble, but discos may not be implemented yet in the game.

I finally Alt-F4'ed the other day. I was at an airfield all by myself. The airfield was just captured and I needed to fly to a different friendly field.
Well the wife just said, "Are you gona fly all nite?"
So I tried Alt-F4. Guess what?? It throws you completely out of the simulation! I mean out!! Totally out!!
I really couldn't see doing this just to get away from being shot down! Big PITA!

Its just a beta.
I once complained to HT about the alt f4,ing. ( If he wasted his time reading my BOOM thread, im sure it gave him a chuckel).
I was P O,ed at the time because i had clearly blown the wing off a con for nothing.
Then I got to thinking about how many times I have ditched without a wing (many). and I started to count tho other things that go wrong. I am good for at least two game
lockups a night. Also, due to ISP problems I average 9 or 10 dumps to desktop a night. Then theres the odd message system that doesnt report your kills if you die before the other guy does.
I haave no doubt that by the time this game comes out of beta all of these things, except the message will be fixed. I think the message deal is to try to discourage HO,s.
Creating hard feelings with other pilots, over somethimg that you have no way of knowing that there guilty of, is probably a bad Idea at this point.
A beta score means less than nothing. For example, I nose dived from 6th down to where ever I am now, the day the Stick stirring solution began. For all I know my stick was giving me some unfair advantage before, that I was not even aware of. Anyway, if you really do force someone to alt f4. they have to go to all the hassell of getting back in the game, that should be more satisfying than a simple kill (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).
