Title: Lancaster intercom recording
Post by: Furball on July 02, 2003, 08:25:11 AM: here (http://www.tigersquadron.co.uk/lanc.zip) recording from a lancaster over germany getting attacked by a german nightfighter, which is shot down by the tailgunner.

notice the short burst, can you imagine AH .303's shooting down anything in that time? ;)

very englishman way !!! :eek: and the 3 seconds of silence after the guns scream .... is a shudder
