Just checked out the screenshots of the F4U. It looks strangely...familiar (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
Now don't get me wrong...she's a beauty, but with a choice between, say, the famous Marine Hogs of VMF-214's Black Sheep or the classic 3-tone Navy paint job and terrifying Skull and Bones nose art of VF-17 Jolly Rogers, how did they end up with the same paint job as...er...Brand W?
With that lovely yellow nose ring (tm) to announce its presence, I'm beginning to schmell...er...smell a Konshpirazy (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I think Australian or New Zealand markings would be something 'different' (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
My favorite is the USN 3 tone scheme.
Here. Go to this website and do a search on 1/48th scale by F4U:
