How do I know I'm updateing with the right BIOS?
-
If you are asking that question, you probably shouldn't be doing it. (Not trying to be funny.) If you screw that up you can totally screw up your computer.

You really don't need to update your BIOS unless you are putting in a new processor which your BIOS doesn't have enough speed settings for.

Not entirely true, there are other things than just adding processor support that BIOS updates can fix.

Dont forget to pull the power cord half-way thru the bios update ;)
